Multicultural Exhibitions: An exhibition of photos depicting life at Benalla Migrant Camp 1949-1967
This is an fascinating piece of Victoria's multicultural history told through a photographic exhibition in one of the original migrant camp huts on this State Heritage Listed site. The camp operated from 1949-1967 and approximately 60,000 European Refugees and Displaced Persons and later, migrants on assisted passage to Australia, passed through its gates.
