Immunisations : Department of Health - Immunisation Information for Parents
By law, immunisation status certificates must be presented by parents on enrolment of your child into primary school.

Recent figures indicate 20-25 per cent of Victorian primary school entrants are not meeting this requirement.

The Department of Health brochure "Starting Primary School?: Immunisation information for parents enrolling a child" can provide information for parents about how and why you need to provide an immunisation status certificate.

You can order free print copies of the recently updated brochure on-line from the Immunisation website.
Translated versions of this brochure are also available.
For more information, contact the Immunisation Section - phone number and email address as listed on this page.
