Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Support and Information : Central Hume Primary Care PartnershipKorin Korin Balit-Djak means "gowing very strong" in the Woi wurrung language. The Korin Korin Balit-Djak project aims to extend the life expectancy and the quality of the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the community, linking them to services and resources.
In Chris's role as Aboriginal Community Support Worker he continues to make contact with any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Benalla (and other Central Hume)communities and links them to the relevant health services. He encourages as many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as possible to make contact with him.
